Slow living

Scandinavian Morgans is a breeding farm for American Morgan horses centrally located in Sweden between Gothenburg and Stockholm close to the quaint city of Tidaholm.

We grow organic ( ecologic ) hay for horsefeed at the farm, and we keep Highland Cattle , sheep and some chickens. The farms have six ponds that are stocked with Rainbow Trout and crayfish.

In addition to breeding and enjoying our horses we also run a guest farm for visitors that want to enjoy our beautiful part of the world. Most of our guests come to relax, either with riding, fishing, golfing etc., or just to do some sightseeing in this old and cultural part of Sweden. Our guests stay on the farm or in two homesteads located on the property. Throughout the year we hold various clinics on different topics ranging from problem horses to classical dressage in our indoor riding arena and the large round pen, and we train horse and rider on a one to one basis on different topics and levels.

Sports Morgan horses are ideal for driving and is the number one breed for driving in the U.S., and we naturally use our horses for driving as well as riding.
